Finest horsehair has been used for elegant mattresses for centuries but only for royal houses. We at Trois Couronnes were determined to outperform this exceptionally high level. Because of this we do not just use fine horsehair but the finest in the world. To do so we travel all the way to South America because the elegant thoroughbreds of the Americas have the longest tails. In our mattresses they serve demanding sleep gourmets as a natural air conditioning. 

After all, every single hair has an individual “ventilation system”. Thanks to capillary-thin tubes on the inside – which gently let heat and moisture reach the outside. This creates the uniquely dry Trois Couronnes bed climate that lets you dream majestically.

Our bed-makers also have the strictest guidelines for the horsehair that comes from a small selection of suppliers worldwide and is washed in boiling hot water for hours to ensure it ends up in our mattresses with hundred percent cleanness.

But because the best is not good enough for Trois Couronnes the horsehair is also given a “permanent wave” in its country of origin. One hundred and twenty-degree hot steam increases the feather effect multiple times and keeps the mattress perfectly elastic a life long. A noble masterpiece that sways its owners majestically into the ideal sleeping position and lets them wake up feeling pleasantly refreshed.
